I try to make sound my guitar a violin from 15 years. I used everything: effects, harmonizers, synthesizers, guitar sinth, but the most natural and expressive solution is my Ebow. (better then demo on your website!)

Hust got me an ebow, and this thing is great. Now I've got a wide range of new sounds. I especially like the included cassette tape with introductory lesson. It's touches like that that show me a company cares about it's customers.

Your web site-'www.ebow.com', the official website of "The Electronic Bow for Guitar ", has been Great! I observe that The EBow is a hand-held electronic bow for guitar. The small battery-powered unit replaces the pick in the right hand letting the guitarist mimic strings, horns, and woodwinds with unbelievable sensitivity. The EBow produces a powerful infinite sustain, rich in harmonics for incredible guitar sounds. The contents of your site like quotes, history, sightings, etc are quite interesting and in

The thing just adds so much texture to a song. If it's deep in the mix, you may not hear it directly, but if it was not there - you'd know something was missing. Check out "Wating" the first track on our EP at www.aerialband.com

EBOW! the coolest and best thing since the pick! EBOW is 100 times better than a regular pick, doesnt cost TOO much (around 60-70 bucks) and sounds great! ebow is the best thing ever! a cheaper alternative to a synthesizer and you dont have to learn a synth, all you have to know i how to play guitar... if you know how to play guitar, youll know how to use the ebow!

I am an ebow user for several years. I don't think it's another effect. It's like more using alternate tunning or even another instrument (I use a Strat, a Les Paul, the Strat with ebow or the Les Paul with ebow?) kind of thing. Unfortunatly my turn on/off button weared off. Went soft and wasn't working anymore. So I got a guy to reppair it, but he told me he couldn't so he made an arrangement so my Ebow is on when I connect the battery and off when I disconect it. Tell me, is there a way to fix this or

I just got my Ebow last night. My fingers are almost bleeding, I couldn't put my guitar down. I was influenced to get one by the live James DVD where one of the guitarist uses one frequently. Great DVD, particularly if you are an Ebow fan. Anyone wanna swap some Ebow demos? :-) I love this thing!

Absolutely amazing! I live in Israel and it took a rather high shipping fee to get it here, but still I can't believe it! It changes the way I think about guitar! And it's like meditation - after an hour of playing, I'm a new man! Plus, I've been playing it for three days now, a few hours every day, and the batterie's still at two thirds! Amazing! I guess this one runs on the energy of Love or something:)!

Bill has been one of my greatest influences as an artist and beyond. I bought an e-bow as a result of listening to his music. H e has a unique talent of being able to hide it in his recordings. Or using it as a base for other songs. A true master of this device.

I love the sounds of the EBow, but mine quit working. The bluelight is on, but no activity on the strings. Anyone have any ideas? I just bought an ebow and have been playing around with it for a day with my bass. The problem with it is the string spacing on my bass is too wide to hold it, so I have to adjust it. I use it on my dads guitar quite often though. It brings new meaning to the word 'cool toy.' I really enjoy this product, and wish you'd make one for the bass. I think it'd be possible.

My ebow stopped working?!?! I don't know why..has this happened to anyone else? It has a fresh battery and the power light is on, but there is not effect when I put it on the strings. It's worked faithfully for about 4-5 years. What could possibly go wrong with it? I lost my paperwork...does anyone know if there is some kind of warranty?

The Plus EBow is a wonderful instrument that will "shed (blue led) light" over any creative electric guitarist. A wonderful device that you treat (and one that rewards you) like a custom instrument.

I just got my ebow a couple days ago, and my brother's family listened to the demo tape with me. My sister-in-law, who plays first violin in a major symphony orchestra was v-e-r-y impressed with the different sounds. I've played guitar for over 30 years now, but i'd never heard of the ebow until I got the Phil Keaggy 'How to Play Electric Guitar' vidoe recently. It looks like I've got many hours of great fun and musical adventure ahead. Thx.

Alors soyez prudent!!

Dear Ebow, Your product is so outrageously overpriced, it makes me want topuke. Yes, it is amazing, but give musicians who would like to use it a break. In Canada, now they cost like over $200. At least make them out of metal, and make the switch heavier so it doesn't always turn on when you don't want it to. Mine fell off the table, onto the floor and a big piece cracked out of it. It still works, but I wish it was better made.

why don't you check out the Fernandes Susutainer pickup. It will work on full chords and has the harmonic function of the Ebow plus but lacks the articulation available via the Ebow (controlled volume swells, tone changes, automatic string muting....).

I have found the EBow to offer a unique array of timbres not accessable with a pick, volume pedal or guitar synth. Definiteltly worth every penny, in fact, I bought two (don't order from A.M.S. online!!!) alnd now our other guitarist has begun using the EBow. The output is amazing, an unamplified electric guitar can be heard as the EBow vibrates it . All of the examples on the cassette (no CD?) were quite playable with a small amount of effort.

There are many things that are reputed to taste like chicken. Most any meat can be made to taste like chicken. I've found many a soy product, that with the proper preparation, can taste very much like chicken. Personally, I am quite fond of chicken. I also enjoy a nice wine now and again. The feathers of a chicken have many uses. Anglers tie trout flies with them and pay a high price for certain chicken necks.

This is actually sort of depressing for me, since I started to learn the CELLO several months ago, with the hopes of playing either wonderful cello parts on it acoustically instead of by keyboard as well as guitar stuff. But with an Ebow, I could have learned the guitar as an instrument as beautiful as this one but probably four times more quickly!!

You forgot to mention Marty Willson-Piper and Peter Koppes of the band The Church who are two of the finest practitioners of the E Bow. The last time I saw them live, they played the E Bow simultaneously.

I have been using E-bow on my guitars ( B.C. Rich, Les Paul Custom, Guild, Daion) for 12+ years and my pickups sound great. I have not put a meter on the pickups to check Ohms, but I don't feel I have to bother. My guitars sound just as good or better. New single "I Wanna Know"' coming soon: all guitar parts are E-Bowed.

Just bought one last week, and it's really interesting on how it transposes chord textures into a whole new atmosphere. I think this is the best invention for gear since the wah pedal, just amazing. It reminds me of an envelope filter pedal but alot more control and better pitch. I also really like the harmonic setting on it. If you do not own one, get it, because it will change on how you write music, it's more than just a cool effect or a tool, but a whole new world. just simply amazing!

I was unsure before I heard the sound clips, like the beatles and RHCP, Now I need to pick one up ASAP!!!! Plus that list of Musicians is like a long list of refrences and endorsements, good enough for me! P.S. Those records cut links do not work, I was kinda disapointed.

The Fernandes Sustainer has got nothing on the E-Bow, tone-wise, however one does gain the ability to sustain whole chords. All in all I like the E-Bow better.

You guys seem very clever when it comes to making things but don't know your arse from your e-bow when it comes to buisness. As an experienced bassist I'd like to try one,but youdon't(won't) make a bass model despite the hundreds of requests to do so.So do so.

Met Greg at the NAMM show today (Sunday)......thanks for leaving me with a dollar Greg! :-) This is my second E-Bow now....been using one for about 7 years now. I can't say enough good things about this little unit. I'm a bit of a gear junkie, and outside of my Whammy pedal, I can't think of anything else that has been truly unique and given a new voice for guitar players to work with. Keep up the excellent work, Greg. I'll be very interested in the evolution of the E-Bow. Way to go!!

I own one of the first prototype bass ebows. This was given to me when I played with Black Oak in 1977. I used it on tour with Krokus 1984-85 and in the Krokus Blitz video in 1985 during my solo and on my upcoming cd. It's an awesome effect and I've had alot of fun with it thru the years.
